Paolo Valenciano is Bea Alonzo's new leading man in a self-made parody of the Kapuso actress' 'One True Pair: The Movie' with John Lloyd Cruz.
Paolo Valenciano posted a video of him recreating the car scene from the latest Jollibee-produced film One True Pair The Movie, starring Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.
On his caption, the 37-year-old creative director referenced OPM band Ben and Ben's online concert “Kuwaderno,” which he co-directed, writing: “On the way na kami to Araneta. @benandbenmusic #kuwaderno tonight on @ktx.ph! P.S. yes, nag-rehearse ako for this.”
His post earned the Kapuso star's attention as she left a comment and shared the video on her Instagram stories, noting how much it made her laugh.
Paolo's wife, Samantha Valenciano, also shared that she initially “cringed” at his idea, but eventually helped him edit the video before he posted it.
Netizens and showbiz personalities swarmed with laughter in the post's comment section, including Paolo's father Gary Valenciano, and Kapuso singer Julie Anne San Jose.
Paolo and Julie recently joined forces for the latter's hit musical-documentary Limitless, A Musical Trilogy. In December 2020, he also directed Asia Multimedia Star Alden Richard's highly successful Alden's Reality, which made history as the first-ever virtual reality concert in the Philippines.
